Valerie is a young lady living in NYC and studying journalism. She cosplays when she has the time and money (not lately). Her favorite media are books and videogames, but movies and podcasts are ok too. She cannot have a conversation without bringing up her cool mom. So, she made a podcast with her cool mom.
Susan Godfrey is an animation production professional who is also a Mom. She lives in LA but all her major heart arteries are in Brooklyn with her number one gal Ms. Valerie.
She studied film 100 years ago but had opinions even before that. She’s read a lot of books, played some games, has a lot of opinions about all of that too. And where does one put opinions if not the internet. Thanks for the outlet. Hope you enjoy.
The Story Behind Your Keep Your Fork
As long as I’ve had a daughter, I’ve wanted to share all the media I’ve loved with her. Sometimes, that meant exposing her to John Carpenter’s The Thing way too soon—something she has every right to complain about forever—but most of the time, it’s been an incredible gift. I get to rediscover what makes me me and see it all again through her eyes.
